I knew there was a reason I’ve never owned a camcorder. I was waiting on the Kodak Zi8. It comes in aqua, raspberry and black. It records HD 1080p videos, records up to 32GB of video, has built in USB arm, and you can easily upload to social networking sites (facebook, You Tube). Plus, It’s a got a really good price, for $179.95. It releases in September but is available for pre-order on Amazon.
Not quite, but pretty close. It’s the Luxeed LED Multicolored Keyboard out of Korea. You can program it to change colors, stay certain colors to suit your mood and you can create your own color patterns. The Luxeed USB keyboards are available in a white back-lit version (KRW 118,800 / $127 USD) and a black back-lit version (KRW 125,600 / $134 USD), where the keys stay black and only the letters change colors. I’m really considering getting one of these and I don’t even use a desktop. They’re on sale right now at ThinkGeek.
For the past four weeks or so my iPhone 3G hasn’t been picking up any wifi networks; not at home, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble’s or anyplace. The people at Apple Care had me restore and totally erase everything out of my phone and it still didn’t work. They then set an appointment up for me with the Genius Bar at one of the only two Apple stores in Southeast Michigan.
The Genius Bar is literally a bar with stool chairs you sit at while the Apple person tries to get to the bottom of your issue. The store was very busy for today to be a holiday, but I guess that’s probably due to the fact that there are only two stores here. Well, they switched my phone out and I can now connect to wifi, but they said I wasn’t allowed to take pictures of the place or the guy who helped me for my blog. What a wack policy. Here’s a pic of what the store looked like from the outside though (not the actual location).
There seemed to be a lot going on, all at once, in the store and the different kinds of people that were staffed had very diverse styles, which I found fascinating. If I could’ve taken pics I would’ve shown you the dunks one of the employees was wearing in navy and neon yellow. They were pretty nice.
