I absolutely love varsity jackets. I really want to buy one every time I see them (good quality ones). The varsity jacket seems to never really go away. It may not be a feature in mainstream fashion trends all of the time, but it’s always fashionable. This one is from Calvin Klein’s Spring 09 line.

We can always count on Kanye and Pharrell to keep the Varsity Jacket in fashion rotation.

The White Project continues in it’s search to find products in all white and I’m now requesting you’re input on the best all white finds. Although the project originated in sneakers, these items don’t have to only be sneaker or fashion related. You can show us the hottest all white car, piano, jewelry, or whatever you’ve discovered. Now let’s not get ridiculous and send in photos of paper and walls, but you get the idea. If you really like the product, tell me why. What stands out about it to you? Include anything you think would be helpful or relevant. If the photo isn’t yours, please include a link to the source of the photo. Send your all white products to The White Project

So, I found a pair of Ex-O-Fit Hi’s on sale on the Reebok site. Now usually, I’m a sensible person and I think all of my purchases through. However, I got really excited when I saw that they had went on sale and I literally had no other thought process except, ON SALE = BUY THEM. I didn’t even know they came in all white until I was checking on a pair after I posted about them (one you get things in your head, they start to grow on you). Since the whole White Project concept came out of the fact I absolutely love clean, all white kicks, it’s no surprise that I thought this all white colorway was absolutely fabulous and had to have them.

I also decided to include white accessories because, if your shoes are going to be white, you should have complimenting accessories. We all know that accessories can often make or break a fit right? So I bought the all white studded belt. I know this belt has become a little cliche these days, but for some reason I forget to buy belts, so I saw white and bought it. Maybe I’ll work on something a little more original and stylish later.

These are my $5, Forever 21, Ray Ban knock of shades. Dope right? I actually have trouble wearing them now. Someone once called them “Soulja Boy shades” and I haven’t been comfortable with them since. (Check out the worn out button on my keyboard).

Not an accessory, but who doesn’t need an all white Polo, by…well Polo (Ralph Lauren)? The “Create Your Own Collection” option didn’t exist when I bought mine, but I sure would’ve taken advantage if it had. That’s a navy blue tee underneath to match the pony. It’s always to good to compliment with out over crowding the white.

I figured out that Word Press won’t let me make new posts on my other pages. I don’t know if I’m just not informed on the workings of the blog world, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to post in my White Project page…….

So, as the first official White Project post, here are the Rick Owens Hi-Top Trainer’s. As I promised in my So Not the Yeezy’s post, here is another shoe to add to the, soon to be, plethora of futuristic, hi-top styled shoes. They look sort of like Puma First Round Hi’s and Nike Court Force’s. I actually like them, although if I had to choose between them and Puma First Rounds, I’d choose the Puma’s. However, because of them being a luxury brand, I know that the leather feels like butter. Also, when you look at the detailed pics, the zipper isn’t just a dope look, it’s convenient to get your shoes on and off (I think shoe strings are just for show). You can get them at Oki-ni.
